Advice

We advice the UN Security Council not to use the army or the UN forces because, as the conflict is now quite calm, it won´t be a good idea; the war will start again, and we are trying to solve the problem, not to make it worse.

Peace proposal

1.-  We propose to give a part of Kosovo (concretely Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubinpotok, were the majority of the peope are Serb) to Serbia, and became the rest independent.

2.- Another solution, even if its not the best, is giving total independence to Kosovo, but, for Serbia not to be disappointed, we propose Kosovo to sell the raw materials Serbia is interested in, at a lower price.

3.- From our point of view, the best way of solving things is speaking, so we propose to do a meeting were a member of the government of Kosovo and another from Serbia will discuss about the conflict.

Conflict causes

- Historical: The war and the try of getting the independence are the reason of the conflict.
-Religion: We don´t think it´s one of the main causes of the conflict, but it might be a consequence of a really important cause, different ethnias.
- Territorial: It´s probably the most important cause becuase the conflict consists on this. Kosovo wants to get the independence but Serbia doesn´t want to. (Because of different reasons).
- Economic: It´s one plus for the conflict because Serbia doesn´t want Kosovo to independize because he is interested in the huge quantity of raw materials located in the region.
- Ethnic: Two different groups that discuss between themselves are located in Kosovo: Serb and the natives.
- Political: The try of independence brought a civil war some years ago.
- Cultural: Not really, but it´s an agravant for the ethnic problem

Car industry is the most developed: Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi and Seat are some multinationals.

This happens because Kosovo is rich in metals and minerals.

Conclusion:

Kosovo is a MEDC, even if the conflict stuff has made its HDI decrease.

We can say this taking in consideration that, even if its rich in raw materials, Kosovo´s main sector is the third, and we also can base in its location and advanced infrastructure.
